It's Friday ...
A travel mug in my hand
My eyes focus on the top of my cup like a hawk
To my surprise, a tiny ladybug rests on the top of my cup
A wonder of God takes the time to look up
As I gaze at the ladybug, I feel an inner peace
You see, I've felt this before without cease
Ladybugs are such an interesting little creature
In fact, 'In a Bug's Life, ' one was in the feature
Around the world Coccinellids seem to thrive
They are useful insects that help gardens survive
Some believe if one lands on you it brings good luck
All I know is that it brought joy to this old buck
